OUT NOW: Dead Detention Rescribbled #1

Posted by JackAstral - June 29th, 2024

DEAD DETENTION is a scribbly coming of age/adventure visual novel about a nerdy teen turned dooms day survivor. Will you and your new friends get to safety?!

STORY

  • 15 year old Max is given a detention for falling asleep in class - but a zombie outbreak suddenly interrupts it! Senior student Naomi saves him from a deadly attack, but can't leave campus without her lost sister Sora.
  • Deciding to stay behind and help her, Max and Naomi begin their quest to find Sora, while struggling to survive the quickly spreading virus...

CHOICES

  • Make narrative choices that are brave, scared, nice or mean.
  • Your choices will compound and lead to 1 of 3 endings, including a special true ending. (Saves are stored locally on the browser, but I might implement NG's cloud saving system in the future)

MICROGAMES

  • Complete quick microgames throughout the story to swing your bat, run from zombies, climb ladders, and much more.
  • Each episode builds to a fun boss challenge - such as target shooting and boxing!

A rescribbled and fully remade version of my old flash series ~

THANKS FOR PLAYING :) Episode 2 is coming July!

I haven't seen you for a long time. I see that you are still creating your works :)

I knowwww it’s been 4 years since I released something - and like 7 since I uploaded to NG T_T I just started way too many big projects at once

So my idea is to make smaller visual novel stuff between my big RPGs. That way there’ll be no more gaps - without needing to rush stuff like I used to LOL

(And they’re much easier to cut up and port to HMTL5 - so I can finally start uploading to NG again)
