HI NEWGROUNDS !!! How have you been ? Good?! Awesome !

I've been working on my first proper game! It's a story driven, old-school-inspired RPG game called VIEW FROM BELOW. It's about a teenager who becomes trapped in Hell, thanks to a demonic, mysterious figure called Garbiel. VERY LIGHT HEARTED!

The game is dark, funny and HAS A PRETTY COOL TURN BASED BATTLE SYSTEM I THINK

I'm aiming to release it in 2019.

I'm really happy with it so far; it's the game I've wanted to make since I was a kid and played Earthbound and Pokemon Blue for the first time.

There are really silly+quirky+dumb enemy sprites (LIKE EARTHBOUND), cool+light overworld puzzles (LIKE EARLY POKEMON AND ZELDA) and a story I've been working on for a long time now.

Sorry for being so quiet lately, I've just been busy working on this project. I'm really excited about it !

...is called Phantom Reverse.

It's about a paranormal curse, and accepting your past.

It's 6 episodes long.

It'll be playable on mobile devices.

You'll be able to play as a male or female.

It's my best narrative yet, by far.

It'll have dialogue options, quick time events, minigames and a branching choice in the final chapter leading to two possible endings.

I'll try to upload episodes monthly, starting in January or maybe early February.

Once all are up, I'll compile them together into one big, ad free, complete game that'll be downloadable from itch.io, maybe with a version in the Apple and Google appstore.

Thanks for sticking with me for so long - I think this project will be my first big next step.

Hey guys!

So I just wanted to quickly let you know that I've recently started working on a Chaos Girl sequel called Chaos Eclipse. It's super dark, with wayyy better art and a stronger story. I'm really happy with what I have planned for it.

I know I promised to make this project ages ago, but I just couldn't find the time while also balancing Alula Falling, Dead Detention 2 and Chronicle Bulletin

It'll be released as one-full game, with 3 chapters, rather than being split up into parts. So hopefully it does well!

Once this project is finished, I'll be uploading the last 2 episodes of Chronicle Bulletin, as well as the Dead Detention 2 After Story episode

And then...well, I'm not sure. It'll depend on how well those projects do :B

I really like making stuff in flash, but I kinda feel like I need to move on soon and make something large scale...like, a proper actual release...I dunno...

Hey guys sooo I started working on a little project today, and I need both a male and a female voice actor.

The female's part is only around 40 words, while the male's is around 70 - so there's not very much.

The parts are emotive and kinda sad, but not overly depressing or anything. The story's kinda uplifting in a way

If you're interested and able to do the parts super fast (like, within a few days), please PM me with an example of your voice / reel and I'll send you the script if I decide to go with you

Soooooooooo a few days ago I kicked off my new series Chronicle Bulletin! The episodic, visual novel-y series is about a paranormal research club at a highschool- and the trouble they get into on a weekly basis. What's kinda cool about the series is that it's set in the same universe as two of my previous series- Dead Detention and Chaos Girl. Because of this, diffferent characters, locations and events will bleed into each other.

The idea behind Chronicle Bulletin is to basically take everything people liked about Dead Detention and expand on it, while throwing out the stuff that didn't really work. It's pretty much a muchhhhhh needed breath of fresh air.

I'm hoping to make the series around 6 episodes along- but that will really come down to the reception...hopefully people like it :S

Bored? Have a microphone that is at least kinda decent quality?! Want a cool little NG credit for a game that is kinda pretty okay-ish good-hopefully-maybe?

I'm working on a little project right now that requires narration. The script is just an inner mologue, and only about 400 words- though I should say that I need the audio by Sunday this week at the very latest....if possible.

I understand that's a pretty tall order, so please PM anyway if you're interested, but just can't make the deadline.

The gender doesn't really matter, but the voice needs to be emotional, serious, kinda sad and a tiny, tiny bit shaky.

If you're interested please PM me with a voice reel or just a clip of you talking in a voice kinda like I described above (preferably on NG) and I'll send you over the script!
